Welcome to The World's End Restaurant, Cafe and Bar!! The Opening Party for our third season is taking place on Saturday, January 3, 2009! This is also the Kick-Off Party for Green Phangan. The World's End is the result of a collaboration between chef Spike Waltzer and the late Mark Smith, of The Dive Inn Diving School. Spike, a San Francisco-based catering chef, photographer and web designer has traveled extensively throughout the US, Europe and Asia and brings 17 years of culinary experience to The World's End's kitchen. Our staff includes chef Spike, Tio and Jolee, plus a revolving cast of local characters. During January, February and March, we are open from 7:30 AM until 3:00 PM for breakfast and lunch and from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM for dinner and drinks. We are located in Chaloklum village, in the north of Koh Phangan island, and we are directly opposite Chaloklum Pier. At this point we are only open during the high season. Our Menu includes a full English breakfast, Eggs Benedict, fresh rolls, baguettes and croissants and filter coffee, espresso drinks and british tea. For Lunch and Dinner you can choose from our Daily Specials or The World's End's delicious signature dishes. We specialize in 'foods of the world', and you can taste Spike's collection of international specialities including Mexican Enchiladas, Moussaka & Greek salad, Calamari, Pastas, Steaks, Chops, Roasts, homemade sauces and gravy. We use only the freshest local and imported ingredients, we cook from 'scratch', and our motto is 'Quality comes first'. The World's End is located at 37/1 Moo 7, Chaloklum, Koh Phangan, Thailand (directly opposite the main Chaloklum pier). The World's End proudly supports Green Phangan in its efforts to reduce environmental degradation and economic injustice through education, community networks and sustainable enterprises.
